Hello,
I am a MI3 applicant under NOC 1122 with Arranged Employment approved by HRSDC.
I filed my application on 15 July 2011 and received an email from CIO stating completion of positive eligibility review on 12 Oct 2011.
My E-CAS shows ‘In Process’ since the beginning and under ‘In Process’ it reads ‘We received your application for permanent residence on 15 July 2011’

I applied for my GCMS notes through caipsnotes.com at a cost of $40 and received them in 44 days. Though the GCMS notes are broadly easy to understand, you may still have some doubts in certain areas or come across some points on which you need a better understanding. Comparing elements of these notes with each other can certainly help in gaining a better understanding and loads of learning from others experiences.

I have mentioned some information from my GCMS notes and posted questions below them where I have some doubts. I would appreciate your inputs which could help me and many others by reading this thread.

I have a very important request – Please DO NOT quote my entire message while replying. This will use up a lot of space and increase the number of pages unnecessarily. I hope members visiting this thread find valuable information on every page. To simplify posting your reply, I have numbered my questions; there are 13 questions in all. Please mention the question number and type your reply.

Questions:
1. What does In Progress – CP mean? My E-CAS just shows In Process, there is no CP there.
2. Since my application is based on Arranged Employment, shouldn’t the category read as SW2. Even on the CIO notes it is mentioned as SW2.

8. The updates here are dated May & June 2010 whereas my application was only sent a year later in July 2011. Even my AEO application to HRSDC was during end 2010. So why is this appearing in my notes?

Note from ASMB: under Security:1 are details for my spouse.
I am mentioning this because somewhere I read that these are codes and they mean Started or Completed or something like that. But this is not correct, they are simply numbers given depending upon the number of people in the application.
Under Criminality, 1 is for my Spouse, 2 is for me.
Under Medical, 1 is for my child, 2 is for my Spouse, 3 is for me.

All the details / dates / assigned to / assigned by etc. as seen under Security, are exactly the same under Criminality and Medical.

Under Criminality are the following sub headings
Attachments: 0
Criminality History: 0
Police Certificates: 0
Sub Activities: 0

Question:
9. I had submitted my PCC (police clearance certificate) along with my application. Then why is the above against Police Certificates showing 0 (zero)?

Question:
10. Applicants from MI3 who have received their GCMS notes, is the above Outgoing & Incoming appearing in your notes as well?
11. Did anyone receive this email requesting for Application forms?

I have received only one communication from CIO dated 12 Oct 2011 which is my PER. They haven’t requested for the application forms in that letter. I am assuming this is applicable to older applications where they were sending the simplified application form and then the visa office was requesting for the complete application forms when it went In Process.

I assume from the above that my file reached London Visa Office on 03 Nov 2011.
Since LVO applicants do not receive any AOR, this is the only way to find out our RBVO date.

There are many entries under headings

I summarise as per my opinion. Your file hasn't seen by immigration officer yet and nothing has started for you so far like security, criminality, medical etc and there is no BFD there except due date after 1 year of receiving PER. Everything looks ok. Just give it some time to be seen by IO. You are SW2 applicant and they have mentioned that. Don't get yourself confused with so many questions. There are lots of things you would never know as this is their coded/internal information.

If you want to make sure if your PCC is on file or not you can ask them by email but in my opinion they have your PCC.

Thanks

hi

i read your post, and i also got the same type of GCMS notes, as for the request column, i confused alot and even i enquired about that, i got generic reply like, no action is required by you at this time, bla bla..., i think this is their old procedure, requesting full documents after received by VO.
thanks buddy

good luck

Hey just wonder u guys get the status yet ?

I don't know about others but ASMB has reached Canada about 6 months back.
