Hello,

Iam coming to this forum looking for any kind of advice from someone who has been in my kind of situation or has any knowledge about it.

I went to canada on student visa in 2009 i could not afford the tuition fees due to a situation back home which limited my funds i was given a year and a half visa i tried to see what my options would have been i met a girl and we fell in love and got married i applied for PR they gave me visitor visa for a year and then after a year end they extended my visitor visa for another 2 years. I got separated from the marriage as we had a lot of miss understandings it was a genuine relationship. my visa expired i was not deported or anything i just left as we pulled back the PR application.

when i got back home i got a Degree in BBA from a distance education and completed it. I know plan to apply to canada for PG diploma in marketing management. it has been over 1 year and 9 months i left canada.

can i apply for canada or will they ask why i could not complete my first study permit.

Please any kind of suggestion is helpfull.

Thank you

You're probably going to have a difficult time being approved for another study visa to Canada since you did not complete your studies the first time and also submitted a PR application that was later withdrawn. CIC will most likely believe you are trying to find a way to remain in Canada long term and aren't a genuine student. To increase your chances you should go for a Masters degree rather than a PG diploma and you'll also need to show very strong ties to your home country.

Thank you for the quick reply. The course im taking is Post graduate diploma in Marketing which will eventually lead to MBA. I dont hold a MBA in india most colleges in canada require you to have a bba and mba if you want to pursue mba in canada.
