Please reply - Applying under NOC 4163 for immigration

Hello Everyone,

I'm planning to apply under Federal Skilled Worker Program in July, 2012. I'm currently working as a Sr. Marketing Research Associate with US based MNC from more than 2 years. I've a total of around 5 years experience. Can anyone please suggest me can i apply under NOC 4163 since as per the NOC occupation list (listed on hrsc website), it covers my current job but i'm confused about the 29 occupation list mentioned on canada immigration website, which does not include 4163 NOC code.

Is it necessary that our job should come under 29 occupation list only or we can apply any of the best NOC code available on hrsc website. Also, please this thing in mind that i'm not considering any job offer here. Please suggest your views guys, and help me over the same.

Your NOC must appear on the list of "29" to be eligible without an approved AEO job offer to be eligible.

then may i apply under NOC 1122 with Marketing Research profile? 3 to 4 duties actually matches with my job profile, so should i go ahead & apply for immigration? Please suggest.

No, the cap has been reached, you have to wait to see if it is on the list in July. If your occupation is described in 4163 then CIC most likely refuse an application under 1122
