hi,
can you please mention contact details of any good migration agents from punjab, india.

thanks a lot.

Dear friend ! why do you need an agent for filing of an immigration application ? Each n every thing is clearly mentioned on CIC website n if u have any doubt then this forum is of great help for immigration queries. All folks are kind enough to advise you appropriately. Regarding agents all are one n the same..... looters n cheaters. Better avoid them. Regards

Totally agree with lubob!

Stay away from agents. They get reaaaaally overpaid for doing nothing else than scr@wing up your application and delaying you. All your info will be going through them and you will need to beg them and call them 10 times/day to get an update about your case.
They will never care and be careful about filling your application more than you.
And even if you hire one, still they ask you to do all the paperwork. Meaning that you won't save the hassle and the bureaucracy. They will only check what you sent them and will forward it to the CIC.

Help will always come when you have any questions. Even the most difficult question is answered the captain will help. He is very kind and nice to everybody.

Start and ask any question you want.

i have made up my mind to apply on my own. :)

Good decision. please ask any question someone will help you on this forum.

thanks babbar for your suggestion. i think i heard of them before will surely consult them in case i find it too hard.

and guys what are the chances that cooks will be removed from new noc list. really worried.

and is the new points criteria coming into effect from 1st july or is it just speculation. because it can benefit me as i have good score in ielts and will also get maximum points for age.

thanks all for replying.

yes u r right. hire a LAWYER, but never a CONSULTANT ! because a LAWYER is bound by judiciary laws and morals, whereas a CONSULTANT is bound by greed for making more money for his business. and if he is ever caught, he can get away by giving bribes

Hi akira

there are probable chances to remian cooks in MI-3 list. I think shortage of cooks is still in canada otherwise it was not added in MI-2 list.
Second thing, if your case is absolutly genuine then i strongly recommed you to not hire any consultant.

thanks

rajeev

If you don't like doing a research yourself and read yourself at the CIC's official site how to do it, then use a consultant/lawyer, pay him 1.000-2.000$ so he will tell you what to do. All those things are already all over the internet, but why not to pay a big amount of money to save you a whole weekend of researching?
Cause apparently some members here are under the impression that the members of this forum are obliged to answer any question, and answer it fast! That we are here 24/7 for your service and that we have to even google things for you.
And I'm referring to an ungrateful post I just saw here, which of course had a reply before, it wasn't good enough, and he/she felt bored to google his question. Something that I did, and found his answer in 3 minutes!!!!
Bottom line, NO this forum is not here to serve you. It's from people all over the world going through the same situation that you do, and are willing to dedicate some of their free time to help others, if and when they can. People who research and read posts and gather information, not lawyers, not experts.
The decision is yours, your money and time also.

24/7 hahahahahha then why still my query is un-answered. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/what-is-etef-valid-for-fsw-pr-to-claim-additional-points-input-reqpmm-t74284.0.html;msg826009#msg826009
better to hire lawyer and relax bro... some people here still dont know complete immigration process, even they dont know difference between "review pending " and review completed" by visa office when your application is in-process after qualifying. so what you think in future this forum going to help , day by day this forum going worst.....

1. Is anyone OBLIGED to answer your question? no

2. 9 out of 10 applicants (probably more) in this forum gave ielts and not tef

3. Did you even try to google "e tef immigration canada"? Of course not, why to even bother?

4. The crazy idea of phoning the TEF examination center ever crossed your mind? But why to phone and spend 30 seconds of your life, if you can put others to do the search for you?

Your behavior only saws that you don't really care and that you prefer others doing things for you. Instead of accusing others for not helping you, maybe you should first try to help yourself.
Bottom line: it's you own application and you are the one who should put huge effort on it, not others!

Hope you paid a lawyer for it, cause apparently you don't like struggling yourself and you can afford to spend 2000$ for an amount of work that doesn't worth even 200$. And hope he won't mess your app up, like so many cases in this forum who got rejected over the lawyers mistakes and lies.
It's better to do something yourself, fail and yourself to be the only one to blame, than paying others to fail you.

Good luck with your application
