please re-direct me to forum for int'l student/PGWP holders visiting USA

hi everyone ,so i drove to USA via rainbow bridge from Canada and then back the same day.
They gave me a slip attached to one of the pages of passport (valid for 6 months). The immigration girl told me not to let this thing expire.

Has anyone encounter such situation and how can i prevent the expiry of the document e.g. if i somehow not able to travel to USA again?
