Can i travel to canada with a valid visa but with only one month left in my passport validity ? or should i renew my passport and travel with both passports (i.e. the old expired passport with a valid visa and a new passport without one )

what should i do to keep my PR visa ?

You can apply for an urgent passport (NEW) which should be issued immediately depending in which country you are..... Carry both your passports.

but just to be sure , have you been through such case ? in other words , are you sure of that ? because i'm terribly afraid concerning losing my PR visa.

I Advise you to travell with the current passport which is holding your PR visa and then you have the option to take a new passport in canada by contacting your country's consulate. and further after getting your PR Card you dont need to get a visa to re-enter into canada....

I travelled with a 2-WEEKS' OLD VALID PASSPORT'
This is because my visa only ad 4days's validity period.
You can always renew your passport from canada.
Don't risk lossig you PR. Even if your passport is one day valid,you can use it. Just make sure it has not expired.
Some people my say your passport must be 6months' valid, that is misinformation.
Once again, i landed with 2weeks old valid passport. I am now in canada, later i will renew it. I am not in a rush to renew it now because i don't need to travel out of canada.
