Hi,
Please find below exact days spent in Canada.
My PR validity is from 24th April 2012 to 24th April 2017

Year- Number of days in Canada
2012- 147
2013- 170
2014- 000
2015- 000
2016- 366
2017- 83 (PR validity expires on 24thApril 2017)

Total days as in 24th March 2017= 766 In 5 years

Can permanent Resident status be maintained?
If yes when and how do I apply for it?

Plan to go to Canada by December 2015 and then stay there itself.
Thanks for guiding till now..
Please help once again

Thank you!!

You must be physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for 1,460 days within the six (6) years immediately before applying for citizenship. You must also be physically present in Canada as a permanent resident for 183 days in each of four calendar years that are partially or fully in the six (6) years immediately before applying for citizenship.

OP is asking about the residency requirement for maintaining PR - not citizenship.
