Hi All,

I sent my intial application to sydney office today(May 31st).I applied under federal skilled worker class(cat 2).
Can anyone please let me know within how much time will i know the status as we are planning to visit India for 20 days trip in Mid August(Just to avoid the courier going back since we are not at home during that time).

What are the time frames?

IT IS ABOUT 2 MONTHS TIME FOR REPSPONSE FROM CIO
It would be more appropriate to make alternative arrangements to receive the letter.

Sidney send emails with acceptance/refusal. recently it takes 3-4 months to make the decision by them

if u have written them ur email then they wl contact by email. for acceptence and rejecction they send email. for some missing information or incomplete form they return the whole packet by post.
