I have a query to ask adn get clarified:

1. How long do we need to show the funds in our account?
2. How much amt do i need to put in the account(we are 2 in my family)?
3. At what point of time do i need to put in the amt and till when?

answrs to ur Qs:
2. u need to show c$13,801 for a family of 2 persons
1. depends if it's ur own money (plz don't be offended as i m trying to simplify the answer), i think there is no question of how long u need to show it for. still if u r really desperate, i think 6-9 motnhs is an acceptable time. however, if it's not ur money & u r borrowing it to show it as proof of fund, please be careful as CHCs are quite strict now a days in terms of the conditions.
3. i think u need the money in ur account until ur visa is granted as CHCs can ask for a updated bank statements at a very late stage.

however, i am not an expert & even my own application is not approved yet. so, u can ask seniors about their views. u can also visit the following link:

1. Once the application is approved from CIO and before sending it to the local visa office, the amount should be there in your account from the time application is received by Local Visa office till the time Visa is issued. This is to be safe. You will also need to provide proof of funds during your landing in Canada otherwise entry might be denied and Permanent Residency status might be denied.
