Congratulations. You will need to submit all documents which prove you have sole custody plus all texts and email with the father refusing children’s medicals/sign forming etc. You have to prove you have sole custody and don’t need father’s permission for them to leave the country.

Hi I’m trying my luck to see if you may be able to share some insights on my case - I’m Chinese citizen, and have birth to my daughter in Japan without knowing where her father was/is, so her birth cert shows father as blank. She has been living in Japan with me since she was born and also holds a Chinese passport. it seems that there is no such legal process that would provide confirmation of sole custody in China since she’s born overseas, wondering if court order is a must in the process of Canadian pr application process? Or eventually some sort of declaration / letter could work? Thanks!
