Guys, I am having the worst nightmare ever. So I received an ITA on 10 July with 469 CRS. I thought of appealing WES for evaluating masters as four years degree but I did not since I got ITA anyway. I dropped the fight for an extra 7 points.
Now, I am 30 years old, with two or more degrees and 8.5 IELTS and more than 3 years of work experience. But, while going through my work experience I realized that I have one year and ten months of work experience with two very well renowned companies and with managers who will vouch for me any day. But the issue is, in between, I worked for a startup which has now gone closed. Now after reading almost every single thread here I thought I will be fine since I have salary statements, jobs and responsibilities in my offer letter itself, and ITRs. Also youtube and LinkedIn pages with company details and online registration details of the company that now shows closed.
Here is the problem: I met my now estranged husband in this company and have filled the application as legally separated which I am. But he was the director of the company and all the letterheads were signed by him. I worked as crazy for this company, drew way less salary than what I deserved because it was a startup and was hoping to get it funded and get ESOPs. But that never happened. Anyway. my dilemma is, how do I prove my points. If I go ahead with my papers, the VO will have nowhere to call to as a company is closed, numbers are not working and the website is down. If he contacts the director, I have no idea what will he say. Also, I feel extremely frustrated to put my future in the hands of that person again after going through so much. And the company closed on such bad terms that no other person will write a letter for me. So how do I go about it? I really need your suggestions.

Hi, If the company ever existed, there must be registration information for that company, get the copy of that and attach it along with an explanation letter drafted by Lawyer etc. and prove that you did not get along with your husband and you have taken steps to separate from him. VO knows how people behave after they break up from each other.
This is all assuming that whatever you said above is genuine.
Good luck

Thank you! Yes, the company details, registration details, director details are all available on the internet and with me. In fact, media articles about the company also still float online. And yes, everything I have stated above is genuine. I am just worried about how will the VO confirm my NOC since the website is now down and NOC is such an important part. My work and salary details can be easily verified, but verifying jobs and responsibilities is something that is causing stress.
Thank you for the revert; I will take the help of a lawyer now.
