Hi, My work permit and visa both expired on March 18. I applied for extension after my wife got a B category job and 3 pay stubs. But after one week of applying for work permit I also applied for Visa extension along with my wife as I did not know that a valid status is required to extend the visa. Will this affect my work permit decision?I called at CIC call center they say it is still in progress. My wife already got the approval for visa extension I haven't got either of them. My friends who applied after me got an approval already. Please help.
