Hello everyone..

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I came to Canada as a student with study permit and graduated in 2015 as Mechanical Engineer in a 5 year program, after graduation I applied for Post-graduate work permit (PGWP) in June 2015, I waited 2 months with no response so I decided to go back to my country. in November 2015 I received the PGWP which was valid up to June 2016.

So I was wondering if there is any chance to go back to Canada again to work and reside, if yes, which programs/ permits should I apply for? I don't have any offer letters and it seems hard to get one while outside Canada.
I do have 1 year experience as an Engineer.

Please advice.
Thank you

It's too late to use your PGWP since it has expired.

If you wish to work in Canada, you will have to obtain a full time job offer from an employer in Canada first. Next, that employer will need to apply for and obtain an approved LMIA. Once you have a job offer and approved LMIA from an employer - you will then be able to apply for a closed work permit tied to that specific employer.

Your other option would be to apply to immigrate and become a permanent resident. Canada's immigration programs are described in detail here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp
