i have to submit an additional document in my visa file which i didnt add while applying in the university . Does the visa officer verify documents with the university i got admitted in ?

Did you get study permit already?
if so, you do not need to send additional docs for your work experience.

if you did not get the sp yet, you can send the doc.
VO would not verify the doc beczue it is not related to your program.

Actually I have an offer letter from Concordia university . I wanted to know if visa officer can contact Concordia university to check the documents I submitted while applying in Concordia university ?

if so, yes they might/would.
