Greetings,

My name is terence, I reside in Cape Town. I am in the process of obtaining a Skilled Worker Visa. Under the points system, I do qualify but I need a job offer. I am working on getting one but what can I do in the meantime ie. other paperwork I can get ready. And is someone can please explain to me the process that I would need to follow to eventually obtain PR, and how long each process takes. I would really appreciate it, cause I'm fairly confused at the moment. ???

if u r about to learn about obtaining PR of Canada, i think u should 1st visit :

www.cic.gc.ca

it's better to learn from primary source 1st and then collect opinion. our knowledge is based mainly on th above website & then learning from this forum.

I am in the same boat like u or u san say just a one step further from you. Well if u qualify with the job offer and then clearence from HRSDC then each process has to take some time. First finding job offer take several months also depend upon the source, once job offer is received clearence from FRSDC has to be done again it take approx. 3-4 months than AOR take 2-3 months so it is long process.
