Hi There,

I have worked for an employer in BC for 7 months from Jan 2012- july 2012(7 Months) as a Electrical Technician with him

and then i was laidoff and after 2 months , i have received a good offer from a big company same in BC and i worked with them from OCT 2012- November 2013 (13 month) and applied for immigration in December 2013 and left canada

My problem is my previous employer is not in contact and not responding my messages, and moreover not sure if he is still running the business or not, but he gave me all the paper work when i was filing the PR.

What if the immigration people try to contact him and if he doesn't answer or doesn't respond back to them. will they still consider my 13months work with the new employer.

Thanks you guys

As long as your employer was legit(registered business) and you worked for them with proper authorization(work permit) you should be fine. Hopefully all your documents are in line. For example, having your employment reference letter printed on official company letterhead, submission of T4 etc...goodluck.
