Hello!

Question:
For OUTLAND parent sponsorship; are these all the supporting documents that are needed at the time of application?

1. Copy of Birth Certificates
2. Copy of Passports
3. Copy of Marriage Certificate

***

The application document checklist only mentions those above supporting documents for parents; but I see from the forum here...CIC does eventually ask for Medical.

4. At what stage do they ask for Medical?
5. Does CIC ask for Police?
6. Does CIC ask for any other supporting documents later on?

***

Thank you for your help.

P.S. How do I +1 a helpful post? I am new to the forum.

Yes, plus of course the CRA income information that shows sponsor/co-signer meet MNI for 2012, 2013 and 2014 (if applying Jan 4, 2016).

Yes they will eventually need to do medical and police checks. It will be sometime later, however there is no set time as it depends on the visa office being used. I don't think anyone knows exactly the times that people will see under the "new" parents apps since 2014 with 5000 cap. Some people that applied in 2011 are still waiting.

Thank you very much.

I am assuming that Monday, January 4th is first business day for applications to be accepted?
I do not think that they work on New Years?
