Hi guys

Please help me out here

When creating the EE profile, under the intended Work section I put "Yes I have a valid job offer". Now, I did not know at that time that valid job offer means offer with LMIA. I am working at a full time permanent job under my PGWP. I received my ITA already. My question is should I now put NO? I did not claim the 50 points for that to begin with. Do you think it will be misrepresentation if I say NO during my application or you think it will be misrepresentation if I keep saying Yes to that question even if it is NO?

Please help

Thanks

I am not fully sure but if you have a job offer then doesn't it automatically adds point to the score ? if changing that reduces your CRS score then you should decline the ITA and wait till you get another ITA.

Any person working on PGWP should not get those 50 points. However, after deducting those 50 points, if your score is still greater than equal to your invitation round, you are good to go, write it in the Letter of Explanation that you mistakenly selected Yes and you are still above the cutoff score after deducting those 50 points. However, if your score falls below the cutoff, you should decline the ITA immediately.

Thank you so much for the replies but I did not receive the 50 points to begin with. I only received points for work experience not the arranged employment part. So saying Yes or No does not change my points. I just want to know if I should leave it as Yes or should I change it to No when I apply.

Thanks again!

Change it to what applies to you, and explain it in LOE that it didnt affect your point
