I am an international student at University of Toronto and graduating in June 2014. Once I finish school in May I'll apply for the post-secondary work permit. As my program is 4 year in length, I am eligible for a 3 year Work Permit.
I am planning to go back to my country in June (as soon as I complete the Work Permit application). I am going to stay in my home country for about a year. My concern is- Will I have any difficulty returning to Canada at the port?
I will be holding a valid (not yet expired) Post-Secondary Work Permit at that time. However, as the time I will be outside of Canada is quite long, may be slightly over a year, will there be any problem? Also, I will be unemployed when I come back to Canada. I am visa exempt. I do not need a TRV to enter Canada.
Thanks.
