Gap is when you are not in study of any kind and not even working and Gap does reduce chances of visa.

But you were working at that time, is 5 years work experience you gained, is the 5 year gap you talking about?

If yes, It is not considered as gap. It will help you in visa.

You have good chances of getting visa. Toronto has loads of part time job, dont worry about it but field job is important.

Universities are mostly expensive. Choose as you like.

hey thanks for your reply.

Could you suggest me cities where it is comparatively good chances of getting part time jobs and less cost of living..

Places with lots of jobs (like Toronto) aren't necessarily easy to get jobs. 2 million jobs and 3 million who want a job, is the same as 200k and 300k jobs in a smaller city.

Using your criteria of cost of living, and lesser fees for uni I have 2 words. GO... EAST. Dalhousie in Halifax, Memorial in St. John's and Prince Edward Island. 3 great unis with cheap fees.
