Hi hope somebody can share some light on my questions?
I was born in Canada but have lived in England most of life. I have a Canadian passport and am in the process of filling out my forms to sponsor my wife. Once sponsorship is accepted we are going to move to Canada.

When I send the forms off to sponsor my wife questions 1-6 on IMM 5491 do I also send the sections 7-12 which relate to my wife at the same time. Or do I just send questions 1-6, wait for my sponsor approval then send questions 7-12 with supporting documents?

Any help with this would be super

You need to send everything together:

1. Sponsor's forms and related documents.

2. Applicant's forms and related documents.

3. Evidence of your relationship.

4. Receipt of fees paid.

Thank you for this I was hoping they all went together. Honestly can't thank you enough

FYI your wife is not moving to Canada but coming for a visit. As a Brit she can stay up to six months then will have to apply for an extension. Just be careful how you word things at the airport when coming into Canada
