I have been living in Canada for the past 5 years. 2 years as a student 3 years on work permit. I have 2.5 years of full-time experience. After 1st of jan 2015 the rules changed, even though I'm eligible under all the 3 CIC programs, I have to wait for the points to drop. I'm currently at 430 points and I'm trying to get LMIA done through my employer. My employer is very skeptical because of the $1000 fee and also exposing his company's legal documents to another government agency. Things are only complicating my current situation. My permit is coming to an end of march next year 2016. I am already working, I don't understand why do I need a job offer and why would my employer has to get lima approved to keep me. My employer did agree that I was the most qualified of all the people they interviewed. If in case my employer doesnt agree to help me with my LMIA, I'm screwed and all my hard work, time and money I invested in Canada will be flushed down the drain. I'll be forced to go back to my country, with a car loan to pay.
SO PLEASE HELP ME AND PEOPLE WHO ARE IN THE SAME SITUATION THAT I'M IN RIGHT NOW.

Citizenship & Immigration Canada launched the Express Entry Program in January 2015 to bring in-demand people with the skills to succeed in Canada faster than ever before. It has been over nine months since its launch and the lowest cut-off score so far has been at 450 points. According to the Express Entry Mid-Year Report, only 5% of the candidates in the pool are above 450 points, leaving the rest 95% of the candidates waiting for the score to come down till they run out of their work permit. Sadly, all of them are skilled workers, mostly in the age group of 20-35, already eligible to file Permanent Residency under Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
International Students in Canada have an immense contribution to the Canadian demographics, culture and its values. Not only being a minimal burden on health care system and well blended in the Canadian culture, International Students have a huge impact on the Canadian economy.
We still need 1,017 digital signatures to reach 5,000 and a letter will be sent to CIC & Prime Minister of Canada/Premier Ministre du Canada Justin Trudeau.
We don't deserve to be treated like this and any sort of help in any form will help us "Internation Student" with PGWP in Canada.
