Hello Guys,
I have a question;
I want to apply for admission into University of Alberta to study Occupational Health and Safety, which is a part time program. And duration is between 2-3 years on part time. I am currently living in Africa.
And my friend told me that I will not be given Visa because its not a full time program. Is it true that Student Visa to Canada is only given to full time International Students?
Any advice on how to package my part time student Visa application for the above mentioned program will be appreciated. I am from English speaking Country in Africa. All my education so far has been in English.
Therefore, will I still need to do International English Language Test?
Thanks for your prompt reply,
depcon77.

Can I be a part-time student in Canada?

No, foreign students must be regular students. This means that you must study full time in Canada.
