Is there any advice on what to do with my situation please? This is my second PR application under Live-in Caregiver program. My 1st one was refused because my husband has cancer. In my 2nd application, he is a non accompanying dependant. We have 2 kids ages 15 and 11. My hubby just want to see them come to Canada for better future but what to do about his failed medical examination? I thought it wouldn't be too strict this time because he is non accompanying but the medical procedure was the same. Hope someone would enlighten me on what to do for positive outcome. Thank you.

I'm sorry for your situation. Unfortunately even if a non-accompanying spouse/dependent is deemed medically inadmissible due to excessive demand, the entire app is still rejected for everyone. This rule is there because even if non-accompanying, once you became a PR you can sponsor a spouse without need for excessive demand criteria.
The only ways I see for you to get PR, is if his cancer is cured so he can pass the medical exam, or you separate from him so are "single" when you apply.
As said above, it doesn't matter if he is accompanying or non-accompanying. He must still pass the medical.
Note that if you divorce and apply for PR without him, you forfeit any possibility of sponsoring him in future, as it will be seen as a "Divorce of Convenience".
