Hi,
Thank you for reading this. I have a dillema- I am sponsoring my mother. After 32 months I was sent a letter that I met income requirement for 12 months, but they want me to provide income for the past 3 years. It has to be met. Is this even legal? How can they do this, and give me hope and now they want income for 3 years!:-( I only read it is supposed to be met for the past 12 months- are they nuts?!
Can you tell me if they are picking on me, or if this is legal?
Thank you very much for your response.

Yes, they want to see if you still meet the LICO, so phone Revenue Canada and request the option C for the last 3 years. From your tone, I gather you don't meet the LICO now?

Thank you for your response.
Yes, you are right, I no longer meet the required income.
I guess it makes sense. Now, I will be looking for a better job and then reapply.
The process is long, but gotta do it.
Thanks again:-)
