Please help me with your ideas

Dear friends,
I would appreciate if you assist me on my case.

I'm applying as skill worker in IT as you know IT is now removed from the list but I got my file number before they cross it out.

I have Bachelor of Engineering and currently I study MBA which is finishing in 4 to 5 months. I also have more than 8 years of full time job experiece in IT. My IELTS score is: Listening7.5, Reading8.5, Writing6, Speaking7.5.

When I am checking my score on the CIC website it shows:

1 Education 22
2 Language Ability 14
3 Work Experience 21
4 Age 10
5 Arranged Employment 0
6 Adaptability 0
Total Score 100 67

But my lawyer is saying Education is not 22 for bachelor and it's 20 so my total is 65! She advises me to ask for IELTS writing reevaluation and write an essay to immigration officer explaining about my English knowledge.

My time is so limited my due date is October 14th, Shall I take her words?

So i guess she is rite - based on study that u hv attained so far - u will get 20 points for education as per OP manual bulletin that VO refers.

But Just to remind you that skilled workers in IT dont need an LMO .... they can just apply for work permit if they have a job offer so if you dont get thru PR - u mit think of this option - but m sure u can work a way ard - all d best

Ali ... my advise to you would be to write a case specific enquiry and ask for more time for submitting the documents - this way you can eat some time and do you reevaluation for IELTS
My advice to you would be that you are living on edge - bcoS even if you get 2 points extra from IELTS u will get 67 which is just about enuf to get your PR.
So my advice to you would be to first ask for some time invariably 1-2 months and then send your IELTS results having a total of 16 points so u atleast qualify ... n then u cn probably also include your MBA TRANSCRIPT at a later stage in the process so that they can u award u more points

Extremely unlikely that the OP will get an extension. As per OP Bulletin 120

"A) Requests for extensions

The FSW application kit [IMM EG7000] informs applicants “visa offices are strictly enforcing the 120 day rule and will not provide extensions.” In addition, applicants are informed clearly and unambiguously of the documentary requirements and the timeframes for submissions to the visa office. The FSW kit states:

Consult the Visa Office specific requirements now to determine what documents you will need to provide ... If you are not prepared to submit full documentation to the Visa Office within 120 days do not apply now.

Applicants are given notice from the outset that if they are not prepared, they should not apply. Applicants who follow this notice should be able to meet the deadline.
