Hi everyone,
Please help me to identify my NOC. I am currently in Korea.
My job title is Regional Representative for a college in Canada. Shortly, my duty is to represent the college here to meet up with prospective students and educational agencies. There are 2 different sides when you look at my job:
1- To students and parents: I am more like an educational counselor, to help them find out what academic program we offer and match it with their study interest and target. They usually ask me such questions: do the college has this program? how long does the program last? do we have co-op options? how is the college's life in Canada? where is the college located? How is their career opportunities after graduation? ....
2- To agents: I support as a connection between the college and them in Korea. Like if they want to be our partner, they will likely to contact me first, rather than reaching to Canada. They also contact me on behalf of the students for any questions. Besides, I visit their offices to keep connection, and evaluate their performance regularly (how many students they send to us).
So, technically, I am base locally to answer every inquiries, from school's programs, facilities, services, tuition fees, ... to commission and contract with domestic agencies. Besides, one of my main activities is to attend the education fair held by many agents and the Consulate (like EduCanada Fair) to meet up students on behalf of the college.
Despite the title (it's quite abstract), my job can be seen as an international student recruiter (after all, my target is to appeal as many Korean students to Canada as possible).
I scanned through NOC A 1123, and I am quite sure there was a sample title called "post-secondary student recruiter" but now it's gone. And it's not completely NOC A 4033, this NOC more like psychologist I think
Does anyone have experience in this? Please kindly advise.
Thank you very much!
