Please help me choosing NOC

Hi,guys
my job title is marketing associate
my job duties are :

- execute marketing and communication strategies ; follow up plans to help maximize the outcome of the marketing programs objectives.

- help in efficient communication tasks of marketing products,presentations and brochures.

- implement direct marketing approaches including targeting and and segmentation. tailoring of messages and measurability ,in addition to data analysis .

- follow up the marketing and communication budget and ensure timely execution of program milestones related to marketing.

- support the development of the team skills and competencies.

I feel that NOC 0124 suits me but I fear that they might be for marketing managers only

Any ideas?

Check 1123 and 4163, i also think 0124 signifies more seniority than you you probably have in your position.

Thanks for your reply, I checked both and 1123 is close to my duties but only by 40% .... I'm really confused .... Can you advise me?..... Also if my job title was marketing manager would 0124 fit my duties by at least 70%?

I think 40% should be good enough, remember that the responsibilities and duties encompass all the occupations in this NOC, i.e. positions in marketing, advertising and PR.

It's probably the advertising and PR responsibilities which are not relevant to your occupation, but the marketing ones seem to fit.

0124, they will scrutinize your application very closely for managerial responsibilities. I feel 1123 is broad enough to encompass what you do.

Also look at the example titles to see if they fit your title well.

I wan to be clear, if you think 0124 suits you best then maybe you should go for it. But it's clearly a designation with managerial responsibilities, you have to ensure that your title will fit, and that your responsibilities as stated by your employer will be accepted by IRCC.

I will be promoted to a marketing manager next month..... Should I wait for promotion and then chooses 0124?

Definitely, wait for the promotion then apply. Once you get your employment reference, cross-check with the responsibilities and duties for 0124, and if they fit well, go for 0124.

Thanks, do you know any provinces that I have a good chance of getting NOI from as a marketing manager?.... my crs score is 407 by the way
