Hi all experts,

I have the situation that need the advise here, I really appreciate if anyone can give me any suggestion.

my previous job was found by one of well-known job agency, and my salary and T4 was also provided by the agency. I worked as Logistics analyst in the one of the logistics service company in Canada. However, when I ask my manager's help to provide the letter stated my job duty and responsibility, she refused b/c company policy and government law. ONLY my agency is the one who can provide such docs.

But from my knowing, I need two letters, one from agency and the other one should from my manager to be the adequate proofing docs to support my EE.

Has anyone or known someone encountered the same situation? I worked on this position for 10 months and then moved to the other company, but I don't want to waste this working experience.

many thanks! :'(

Can you ask your manager or Colleague to provide you the reference letter on a plain paper? Then get this letter notarised and attach the business card of the person signing it (manager or colleague). This will work.

Hi sushsmart15,

thanks!

There are many others on this forum who have faced a similar problem and have got the above thing done which has worked well.
