Please Help! Job title with coop

Hi all,

I have a question about my work experience.

I got my post graduate work permit since June 2018 and I graduated in June 2018. I started my job on a "coop" contract, from Aug 2018 to April 30 2019. Everything is the same but the title contains the word 'coop'. Now my employer wants to extend my contract and they will not put the word coop this time on my job offer for another 8 month (May 2019-Dec 2019).

Till 2019 Aug I will finish one year of working and I could apply for CEC. my question is : will previous 8 month of work qualify for work experience even I am under a job title of coop + my position?

I got my T4 with CPP, EI and tax deducted.
It is a full time work 37.5/hr.
This job is qualified for NOC.

Please help!

I just talked to hr and they said they won't include the word coop on my employment letter.
