Hi, We are going through spousal P.R. , and outland application to London, and it has taken over 2 years so far. CIC has made mistakes and it has been very stressful to say the least. We have also had to wait for the FBI check to come back, it has taken 4 months. Today, the FBI check made it to CIC London. We have sent everything they have asked us for, police checks, medicals etc, twice actually as they had expired.
Our question is, is that it now? Is there anything else we will be asked for or will our passports just be called for now? And how long have people waited to be asked for their passports and how long has it taken for the PR card to be issued? We are desperate for me to be working as we want to buy a home so any advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

no one can tell you how much longer it will take unfortunately because each case is unique to its own circumstances, the work habits of the visa officer handling your case, and you seem to already be past the "normal" processing time for london. (assuming the applicant is from the UK, not an outside country that has files sent there).

have you ordered your GMSC notes to see what's going on and whether anything else is pending?

How long people wait for PPR after document requests is all over the map. sorry, but there is no "standard".

PR cards are not issued until after landing. When you are approved you will receive a document called COPR for your landing. This will be used as proof of your status for other services until your PR card is issued. it can take anywhere from 2-6 months to receive the physical card after landing.
The london visa office thread has a very comprehensive spreadsheet that may provide some insight as to how long people wait at that visa office after document requests, so i'd recommend doing some research there.
