so lets say your visa extension was approved and was it not six months from the date they issued the visa?

I believe you can apply for the new visitor visa from states to visit ur hubby again who is in Canada, what is problem in that case?

i left canada because i didnt realize my visa expired.. when i had recieve my accepted visa for 6 months it was only good for 1 more month before i had to reapply they counted the time i waited to recieve it as part of the 6 months. so i left canada after my visitor visa had expired

It sounds like you want to stay in Canada permanently. If so then your husband should sponsor you for permanent residency.

If you are American citizen, why do you need visa to enter Canada?
