Hi guys,

I want to apply for a PR card, but I do not know to start, so would you please advise me. I have master's degree from Canadian university and now I am a second year Ph.D student at the same university. And also I have a year experience as a project engineer in my country Not Canadian experience, so how to start and am I eligible to get it or not and how.

You have posted your question under CEC forum, Canadian Experience Class, in this category you need to have 1 year of work experience in one of the eligible occupations.

Look at PNP programs or FSW. Unfortunately you don't qualify for CEC yet.

It is possible you are eligible right now, depending on which province you did your master's in, and where you're doing your PhD now through provincial nominee programs (different provinces have different programs).

After you complete your 2nd year of the PhD program, you may be eligible under the PhD stream of the Federal Skilled Workers Program -
