I am planning to apply for my PR under Federal Skilled Trade Class and have also cleared my IELTS exam and meet the requirements. I am however, not clear about Certificate of Qualification Requirements under this class.
I am a Skilled Trade Professional but haven't worked in Canada, don't have a job offer and neither have a Certificate from a Canadian Province or Territory. I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the following queries.
1. Can I apply under this class on the base of my education and experience gained in my home country ?
2. Am I required to apply to Red-Seal Organisations for my credential and experience assessment or equivalency before I apply for my PR ?
I tend to think that this program is open for the people who have either jobs from a Canadian Employer or have studied a Trade Qualification from a Canadian Institute and have then been registered with the provincial or territorial designated organisation. Am I right ?
I would appreciate if anyone can help me with the questions above and share some more light on this program.
