Hi, guys, I just submitted my Family Sponsorship Application for my wife and daughter; however, I'm struggling. I'm getting a new job and I need to move back to BC(I'm in AB), so will that affect my application???

Thanks!!

No, that wont affect your application
but when you get to BC and your new address you need to report immediately your new address...

remember that you need to inform of any important changes in your situation...
and this is important change...

When you get the reply from them you can make the change...
you can call CIC to inform of the change...
the Call centre phone number is the following......... 1888-242-2100

No, it will not affect your application. We were initially supposed to land/settle in BC, so that was on our forms that we sent in. I couldn't find work in my field in BC, but landed a good position in Alberta so I moved. I just changed my address on the ECAS system and sent the VO an email with the change few weeks after the move and that was it. A month later, my wife got a phone call from the VO saying that her COPR was ready and asked where to send it to. When we submitted the application we were both living abroad and had changed our address a couple of time throughout the process with no problems.

People move and people go to where the work is. Luckily you were able to find work in BC! Wish we could have. It's been a long time and I am not looking forward to a winter here.
