I have applied for PR under CEC in july 2014, under NOC 6321. my studies in canada was in networking, but i applied for PR as a chef, because i worked in a restaurant for 2years. will my study background be a problem?? since it doesnt match with the category of my PR application??

Depends on the VO, since the studied and claimed are completely different streams.

Don't worry Mate,Not at all, CEC has nothing to do with education background .Only Experience matters.
