hello my friend passport has been released by canadian high commission and is in transit , he applied for student visa 15 days ago new delhi


but he didnot receive anymail from CHC that his visa is approved , please tell me does this mean my friend visa is rejected :-[

No, Until he see the passport.
Before , there was no visa approval mail thing.

So don't worry.
He will surely get the visa.

applied on 27 th feb , file reached on 28th feb to chc

It's not necessary that his visa got refused. However, couldn't help agreeing to your point as in most of the approved cases, they send email. However, there have been cases where they do not send email and visa was granted. So be optimistic. did he apply via a consultant?
