If the employer does not provide Form 16 or not deducting IT from salary, then what document to be submitted to the
Visa Office. Pl advise. Thanks.

IT returns are not compulsory, you can show other documents to prove your employment.

It is better to file the salary slips, even though tax at source is not deducted by the employer.

Hi Ipog,

I'm unsure of how did you arrive to this in the first place? The VO checklist doesn't ask for any other document from the employer except a up to date reference letter and a copy of the employment contract. Why did you have to provide a Form 16 to the ND VO? Did they specifically ask for it?

I'm concerned because we will not be able to provide the Form 16 as well :(:(

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
