One of my friend needs some help from me. Hence, I am posting this topic.

He is a filing clerk in a company and wanted to know whether he will be eligible to apply under CEC. I found out that the NOC code is 1411 General office support workers for filing clerks. Is this correct and does it belong to NOC A or B?

From looking at the matrix I believe that NOC is skill group C so it would be a no.

Easiest way to classify your NOC is:-
If the second digit on the NOC is 1 then you skill level A
And if its 2 then your skill level is B

Cheers

Thanks for the replies guys

This may usually be the case but not always. I'd suggest anyone querying it checks out the matrix to be sure.

Do we have a matrix for 2012 or 2013?
