Hello Guys,
I need another advice urgently concerning my Citizenship application;
To begin with, I Just paid my $400.00 online for my Canadian Citizenship Application. Then printed the official payment receipt. But I didn't know what write on the box where you have; "Client ID". Please what should be there? Should write my ID number there?
Secondly, when I printed my Residence Calculator, on top of page one has part of my email address as; Calculation name; eg. "Wisdom7". Is this normal, or is that it my legal name as it appears on immigration document should be there?
Please help as I want to dhl my application pack tomorrow.
Thanks to you all.
Regards,
Wisdom7

Yes, that is normal to have that name in whatever file name you saved as...

Client ID # as mentioned above is in the PR card .. I think they also call it UCI #...

Hello Guys,
I have posted my Citizenship Application to CIC with special delivery.
Please where/how can I check or track the progress of my application.
I need the link if possible. I tracked the parcel with the tracking number and it shows it was delivered at destination on the 9th May 2014.
Does CIC officially confirm that they have received applications?
If yes, please help me with the link.
Thanks,
Dennis

They do officially confirm that they've received applications, but you will probably need to wait six weeks for that.

Confirmation from CIC will be in the form of either:

1. Ideally an AOR letter with a test booklet indicating all is well and you just sit out the processing timelines.

2. A letter stating your application is incomplete and to send missing document/s.

3. Your entire application returned as incomplete with reason and required documentation plus option of re-submission or withdrawal.

As CIC is acting faster than ever, if your application is incomplete most likely you should see it returned within 2 weeks else after 45 days or so you should find updates in ECAS...
