Hello, I recently graduated and preparing so that I can apply for PGWP. But I'm not sure what to do.
To summarize my situation:
1. 2 years in college. Associate Degree. but had one part-time semester
2. Transferred to university. Bachelors. 4 years in university. Full-time
3. Graduated with two BAs and one Certificate.
Now the problem is with the first 2 years period of my academic years as I had on the part-time semester.
Would this have a significant impact on my application?
Someone told me since I studied 4 years after transferring and ended up with 2 BAs and a certificate, I don't really have to worry about it.
But I'm still very much worried.
The reason for the one part-time semester is:
- I had severe depression to the point of self-harm.
- but don't have any proof since I didn't seek any help at that time or even after as therapy is expensive
So basically I have nothing to prove here.
Should I attach LoE? But I feel like this would draw attention to the part-time semester.
My official transcript only shows transferred credits so I just don't want to risk immigration officers digging deep into my time at the college.
I mailed my school's international advisor and also thinking about applying through an immigration agency.
Honestly, I'm at loss. 6 years of my life could go waste.
Anyhow, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
