Hello,

I'm Alex. I am working full time in the CG industry since 3 years.
Below is my academic profile.

Highschool - 2008.
bachelors in IT - 2009 to 2011 (dropped out after 2nd year)
Sept 2011 to July 2013 - worked full time as a video technician.
june 2013 to dec 2014 - I was at home and taught myself 3D watching online tutorials.
Jan 2015 to Present - Continuously employed at a studio.
I am also studying part time for bachelors in comp sci which I will finish next year.

I wish to apply for a post secondary diploma in VFX from Vanarts (non SPP) in 2020. Will my Comp Sci bachelors degree create any issue for student visa as its not related to CG? The reason I did comp sci is because I am a technical artist and use Math and little coding. Can I use this as a reason in my SOP?

Will the VO reject my application since I will already have a bachelors and then applying for post secondary diploma?

I am mostly self taught in 3d graphics, but want to improve my artistic skills by attending Vanarts, as they have industry professionals as instructors.

Is my case really weak? I can provide 3 years pay slips, reference letters etc.

Please advice.
