planning to visit canada on visitor VISA from US

HI I'm planning to visit canada on visitor visa.

Rightnow I'm in US, My US visa got expired and applied extension before expire date. My case is pending with USCIS. I'm staying legally in US on receipt number.

My question is can I apply canada visitor visa when my US visa extension case was pending with USCIS.

Very low chance of a TRV being approved with pending status in the US.

Wait until your US visa extension is approved and then apply for the TRV.

The pending case will approve around september but i have to visit before that in may or july. Is there any another chance ?
