One of my friend's application was returned back and the reason was that in generic application form for applicant; the mailing and residential address was different as mailing address was the spouse address living in Canada while residential address was the applicant address living in Pakistan; According to IRCC/CIC they are saying if the address are different then fill up the "use a representative form". In this case can anyone help me?

Was there any reason why he didnt want to use his residential address for mailing? Can you share? Cuz i was planning to do same

Because their address in Pakistan is not accurate and risk of not getting letters from cic so their Canada address is permanent address and they feel it's safe for them.

It is perfectly fine to do this, as long as the PA uses the "Use of a Representative" form to nominate someone actually living at the mailing address to receive mail on their behalf.

My wife and I are planning to apply in January 2018 we have been together 14 years married for 13, applying from the UK, I am planning to retire there. my Wife is Canadian by the way.

Hello all! Me and my husband will be applying under the outland family class this month. We are almost done with our packet. My husband is a Canadian citizen and I'm a Mexican national witha DACA permit living in the USA. My situation is kinda tricky so we are hoping for the best! Good luck to everyone!

Also, are any of you submitting pictures on a Word document? I figured it would be easier to have the pics layed out and printed out from the computer as it can get pricey from the actual photo paper. Any tips/advice/suggestions would help! Thanks in advance!
