Hi all
I'm a Nigerian, married, lives and works in Nigeria. I had a baby in Canada in 2016 ( fell in love with the country ever since I visited). Planning to migrate to Canada with my family with TWP. I registered with a recruiting firm in Canada and they are presently searching for a job for myself and my husband. I'm in the social welfare field while my husband is an Accountant. The Agency I registered with gave us 6months to help us secure a valid job offer in canada, said they've sent our resumes to 3provinces - BC, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. My question is
1) If I'm asked to choose a province out of these 3, which is preferable?
2) the agency promised that the job will come with accommodation for the period of the contract ( is it really possible to get such a mouth-watering job from outside canada?)
3) if I succeed in working 2years in canada will I be able to apply for a PR because I'd love to settle in canada after the expiration of the contract ( I love CANADA).
Looking forward to a response from you guys, thanks in advance.

I'll help with two questions.

2) If they make this promise, what they are offering is guaranteed to be a scam and there's actually no job (they'll just take your money and run - and you'll get nothing in return). Generally speaking, almost all agencies are scams. If you want to find a job in Canada, you need to apply for jobs yourself directly with employers through reputable sites such as indeed, linkedin, monster, workopolis, etc.
3) Based on the limited information you've provided, it's difficult for any of us to say if you'll qualify for PR. However if you're able to get a year of full time paid work experience in Canada in a NOC A, B or 0 profession, this significantly increases the chances you'll qualify for PR and be successful in obtaining it.

Thanks Scylla for your advice. If I'm not able to get a job and I decide to move to canada anyways ( probably look for under-table jobs dat'll pay cash), will I at a point be eligible to apply for PR and get it? Wat will be my chances if I decide to take such risk? Also, will it be easier for me to get a job from within canada ( considering the fact that I'll gather few experiences through under-table jobs while in canada. I presently have a multiple visitor visa dat'll be valid until 2020, so can I take the risk to travel to Canada and go hustle for some months.
Finally, can I apply for Express Entry from within Canada.

You're asking about engaging in illegal activity which is a crime and violation immigration law. No one on this forum is going to provide you with advice about breaking the law. The short answer to your question is that illegal work obviously cannot be counted as experience towards any Canadian immigration program. So at NO point will illegal work make you eligible to apply for PR. All the illegal work will do is make you eligible to be removed from Canada, banned from Canada and have your visitor visa canceled - after which it will be very difficult to ever return again.

If you really want to have a future in Canada, you have to follow the rules.

Ok thank you for your further explanations, I never knew doing small jobs is illegal. Ok I hope to go through a legal process, let me look into Express Entry and PNPs then. I really appreciate your advice, thanks again.
