I am a international student. applied to 2 universities in canada,then got admission in 1 uni but regina university said one para of statement of purpose is plagiarism. I added this one para to make my application more beautiful for only Regina, but write statement of purpose of other university by my own self.
They said to me u cannot apply in uni of regina before march 2015, but didnot said u cannot apply in other universities. what u people say will other uni also terminate me, even after giving admission? or i will caught at point of entry on plagiarism and deported back? people please help

You may now be on a "blacklist" shared by other institutions. What you did was a very big mistake, as you have found out. All you can do is try with the other university, but don't be surprised if you get rejected from there as well.

This is why you never share your SOP, with anyone....

2 cases in regina university of plagiarism crackdown. this should be a warning to all members in this forums.

going through a short path is not always the easiest one.

I think I may help you out here.

Ok so you got rejected from Regina for Plagiarism in SOP. No Big deal. Previous comments have tried to scare you but that not the case. Yes now it will be very difficult for you to get admission in Regina. But as you have mentioned that you already have admission elsewhere so u dont need to worry. They will never cancel your admission.
The same thing happened to my friend in Regina. After he got rejected for plagiarism on SOP, he amended the same SOP and applied to university of Ottawa i guess, and got his admission.

In short do not worry, universities do not share information regarding SOPs.Maybe Tier 1 universities do but not tier 2 and 3.

And brother dont be scared. This was a myth that universities will reject you if u have been caught on plagiarism but I saw the practical example and this is not at all true

Its good that u have already secured an admission otherwise your chances were not very good.
Now start the visa process ASAP
