Please all seniors help, I have no idea how long should I wait and what is next!!

I sent my application for PR as a Skilled Worker - with arranged Employment and IELTS TEST and all supporting document on December 28, 2011

They got application on January 3, 2012

February 7, 2012 they charged my credit card

February 23, 2012 got an email from Federal Skilled Worker Centralized Intake Office Sydney, NS saying:

"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada.

Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."

Just to let know I apply as a Painter...

What will happen next ... I know that I have to wait for medical test !!!? We are currently in USA , Chicago so our visa office will be Buffalo !!!!

Another question - together with my Wife we r trying to have baby what will happen if we will get medical request if she will be pregnant - does it matter

Already have passed 3 months and we did not get any info from them - is it normal???

Does it matter that we r applying from USA - is it slower??

who and how is going to contact with US - THROUGH EMAIL OR POST MAIL???

If your wife is pregnant when they request your medicals she will be advised not to have an x-ray done until after delivery which could delay your visa. I've never heard of anyone doing it, but I would be tempted to ask if she could have her x-ray done in advance and the rest of the medical when requested???? Has anyone else heard of this working? Wonder if the DMP could give you advice. Also wonder if the 1 year that the medicals are valid for would start from the date of the x-ray and if it could be repeated after delivery IF you were not able to move to Canada by then. I may be creating more issues than solutions, but it gives you some ideas perhaps.

Sorry, the crystal ball is on loan in another forum. I've been a bit removed from FSW so I don't know much about timelines these days. Has anyone been doing a spread sheet where you can get an idea of the trends?

Your and my time line is the same....................so...........even situation is the same........my wife is pregnant...........so your every thing is normal............if yet you did nt plan the baby than you should wait for another 3 month ........otherwise your medical will be late...........cause in prgenancy you cannt get the x-rays..........

The VO looks files in order they are received. Wait for your turn. Every country has its own processing time, though CIC has not updated since Dcember 2011. Your wife will undergo medical after pregnancy. So as your new born baby. Even if your medical comes now, the medical of other family members will remain to be done. So wait. The Almighty will do what is better for you.

Thank you sooooo much guys for all your replay it is kind of flustreted to wait !!! Please God I need more patience good luck to everyone !!!
My immigration person said that whole process to received PR can take almost 2 years is it true ????
Please share your opinion !!!

Anyway since they change processing time for people who apply after 2008 I thought that it can take 6-12 months to get PR ??? Am I wrong ???
Also I have no idea what actually I should wait for ??? For Aor or Medical test or any letter from Bufallo since I applied from USA ???

The processing time is around 6-12 months,
Few VO omits AOR and they directly send MR to the applicants,
