Hey I am a girl. I am 16 years old. I have recently applied to selected flight center in boundary bay inside canada. I got my LOA for doing my ppl and cpl program there. The flight center doesn't require any previous academic certificates neither IELTS. But I have completed my Olevels and IELTS recently and decided to submit those certificates while applying for Visa. I will be applying for study permit within this month. Can anyone please guide me that will my visa get refused for my academic quality?

Hi, yes they do check your academic records, and relate it with the course selected , if your academic performance is not upto the mark, you may justify it in the sop , Yes it's preferable to give IELTS also along with the application , which is mandatory if your applying through SDS method , if you are going through general way of submission and you do not intend to give any proficiency tests , you may take a letter from your flying school stating there is no requirement for English proficiency test , rest if you have any course done or anything major events which were part of you may include that also , hope that helps..

Nothing specific as such till the university or school specifies reg the English proficiency requirement , but for safer side and the latest update is that you should be having minimum of 6 bands in all modules ,no less than that , for pilot training there is a separate ICAO English test which is done on later stages ..

Okay, So My ielts score is overall 6.5 ( L 7, W 6.5 , R 5.5 , S 6.0 ) . But I am going for Pilot Training course i.e Not for diploma or bachlor . So, Am I good to go? Other documments are perfect but I had problem with my ielts score. As , You said for pilot training there is separate Test , Should I apply with these score ?

I would suggest you to retake the IELTS , or submit an exemption letter issued from the flying school , the safer option is to retake IELTS, rest the ball is in your court to decide the final call..

Hi , can anybody here tell me what happened next in regards of the visa issuance? I have General IELTS, would that be an issue for applying study permit?
