How to arrange the pictures that are proofs of relationship?is it okey to tape them on a bondpaper and put labels below?or just put the pictures inside the envelope?how about scanned pictures?please help!

on this forum both methods are used by the applicants, I personally prefer photos on a paper and put labels , I think this will be much easier for the VISA officer to see your photos, instead of reading labels on the back of each photo.

All pictures have to be on paper, so if you have them scanned you need to make physical prints of them.

I printed one photo for each month of the period of my sponsor's and my relationship. On the back of the photos I circled the heads of the people on it and wrote who they were - these were the people that I listed as "friends" on the application (I don't know if that section still exists in the present-day forms). I also wrote when the photos were taken and what the event was. I tried to choose picture with as many different people on as possible and I also made a point of choosing pictures with close family members present. Each photo was numbered and I made a spreadsheet where I listed the photos and its contents.

Some country specific forms (like USA) state photos must be loose (so you can't tape/glue them to a paper).

The best way IMO is as others mentioned... scan all pictures or take from digital files, copy them into a word document, and arrange them 2 or 3 to a page with description/date of each one right below it. This is what we did, with 2 pics per page and around 10 pages in total or 20 pictures.

I just printed them in color from the computer (digital camera) and wrote captions by hand. One picture per paper.

This is out of the topic. I just noticed that your timeline for visa application was really short. Was there anything in particular that you had on your application? Did you by any chance did the love story essay that others were doing?

Haha no, just lucky i think. We applied under common-law. No essay... we just stuck to the lines given in the IMM form (so about 4-5 lines i think to explain each relationship question). Other proofs were my fiancee being added to my work benefits as spouse and primary beneficiary for insurance, a joint credit card, mail of hers being sent to my address, 1 letter from my mom as testimony, airplane tix for an upcoming trip to Korea to meet her family, and the 20 pics i mentioned. That was it. Looking back though i think this was a bit light and we just had a very easy VO. If had to do a second time, I probably would include more :)

WOW! So it is not impossible to get a very considerate VO. People kept stressing me about making a love story but I feel like I have already outlined our relationship through the answers on the forms, so I don't feel like repeating everything else. That's good to hear, I feel more inspired now. Waiting and patience are underrated when it comes to this.
