I'm physically handicapped and several years ago I met with an accident at the time doctor fixed some stainless steel plate(15 cm length) in my leg. That doesn’t matter because I can walk, drive, etc. without any help and not be using any special equipment for my general duties. I can handle myself my query's,
What about medical check up?
What are the chances to get visa?

Actually i am planning to apply student visa

It all depends on whether CIC think you will be a burden on the health system. You can certainly try to get a visa.

As long as there are no on going treatments that exceed the limit ($6,500/yr), there shouldn't be a problem. There are no barriers just because you are disabled, unless there are treatment/services costs that go with it.

Does the steel plate/metal implant need to be removed or replaced? If yes, when? Also, would there be any complications arising due to any damage to the nerves during surgery to remove the implant, etc? If none of this applies to your situation + the treatment does not exceed CAD 6,500, there would be no issues
